Audrey

Audrey and I are asking for your specific prayers today as we have the most crucial appointment of the pregnancy to date at Texas Children’s Hospital Maternal Fetal Medicine. The triplets (all boys, two identical!) will have a multi-hour scan of their anatomy as important measurements are mapped. Thank you for remembering Audrey and the boys in prayer. Audrey is 20 weeks along and our goal is 34 weeks for the triplets. This is an exciting time of trusting the Lord and leaning on His faithfulness.

I am thankful to report that my newest book, Unanswered: Lasting Truth for Trending Questions, has been distinguished by the Christian Retailing Best Awards as a finalist in the “Church and Culture” category. I am grateful that the message of the book is gaining traction across a wide spectrum of readers.

The Christian Post reporter, Kevin Porter, interviewed me recently and published a very important article, “Is Suicide the Unforgivable Sin?” and made use of the research in Unanswered. For many Christians, suicide is a taboo act that will keep a believer out of Heaven. I’m asked more about suicide and mental disorders than any other question. Please use this important article to help your friend, pastor and community. – JJJ

I enjoyed contributing an article to RELEVANT Magazine, “The Church of Invisible Diseases” – Mental illness is the elephant in the room each Sunday. No one feels comfortable talking about it. Yet, the ministry of Jesus focused on removing barriers to belief and restoring people who were suffering. Please share this with your pastor, your Bible study … and especially with someone in need. Read full article here
